Dr. Sofie Desforges-Bell is a Naturopathic Doctor who recently traded city lights for country skies, relocating with her partner to the charming community of Mitchell. This exciting move allows Dr. Sofie to expand her practice into the Perth County area while also covering Dr. Danielle’s maternity leave from August 2024 to January 2025.
A graduate of Wilfrid Laurier University with a BSc in Biology & Psychology in 2013, Dr. Sofie pursued her passion for holistic health by earning her Doctor of Naturopathy degree from the Canadian College of Naturopathic Medicine in 2018. Her approach to naturopathic medicine is deeply rooted in exploring the root causes of health issues through a combination of evidence-based natural medicines and traditional therapies. She is dedicated to crafting individualized treatment plans that enhance her patients’ physical, mental-emotional, and spiritual well-being.
Dr. Sofie’s practice encompasses a wide range of areas including metabolic health, gut health, skin health, and mental health. She offers a comprehensive array of services such as lab testing, supplement recommendations, herbal teas and remedies, nutrition and lifestyle counselling, acupuncture (Traditional Chinese Medicine), and cupping.
In addition to her clinical work, Dr. Sofie manages the C’est La Vie Wellness clinic, in Oakville, alongside her sister, Danika, a Mental Health Counsellor. Together, they offer a holistic approach to health and wellness, providing support and care to their community.
